#133 Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts w/ Heathen Outdoors

Welcome back to the Iowa Talk Guys Podcast
 
On this show, TP and Mel talk with DW from the Heathen Outdoors Podcast. DW was boots on the ground in western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee for about 90 days after Hurricane Helene wrecked havoc in those areas. DW witnessed some heartbreaking things while in the disaster zone but also has some heartwarming stories to tell about his time helping in western North Carolina. He ran supplies to every person he could, with help from donations and other supply hubs along with aiding the local first responders. He has an incredible story to tell, but the story doesn’t end here.

On this episode, the Talk Guys discuss the land grabs and other bad decisions. Trump has set his sights on Greenland, Canada, and the Panama Canal and wants to have total control over them for “economic and militaristic” reasons. These discussions were happening before Trump officially took office; now that he is in office, he is moving forward with his plans. Trump also has designated the Mexican cartels as terrorist organizations and just recently alleged cartel members fired at US Border Patrol agents. DEI is now a thing of the past, and affirmative action has been repealed with it.

The Talk Guys go over some of the theories about the drone’s origins or what they could possibly be doing. Theories range from secret shadow government agencies and foreign enemies to alien UFOs but the mystery still remains. The Biden admin is telling citizens to not worry about the drones, while Trump claims that the government knows what is going on, but won’t tell the public for some reason. Meanwhile, “temporary” drone bans have been implemented for the states of New Jersey and New York.
